Text Advertising

First off, let me define what I mean by text ads. Text Advertising is exactly what it sounds like; a little text that links to another a site.

I utilize three forms of text advertising on my site:

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the most popular advertising system on the planet. Basically, Google prepares a bar of ads or search bar to place on your site and everytime a user clicks an ad, you get paid! Simple as that! The trick is finding the best place to place ads.

Note: Never click your own ad! You will get banned and lose your money. Google is smart; don’t underestimate them.

Note: Don’t place too many ads. People will be disgusted by your site and never come back (You LOSE money you could have earned).

Text Link Ads

Text Link Ads is a program that pays you to place a link bar on your site. This program however pays you a monthly fee to put their ad box on your site! So, no matter how many clicks you get, you get paid. Obviously, the more clicks and traffic you get to your site, the higher your commission will be. I’ve made hundreds with this program and all for placing a little code on my site! Try it today!

My Own Deals

This basically means I put a link on my site entitled “Advertise Here” and people email me and ask how much is it to place their link on my site. This works pretty well and gives you a lot of control. Just be sure to be friendly, accomodating and offer a deal. Don’t demand some outrageous price… they won’t buy. Their are millions of sites on the world wide web; be thankful they came to yours.

NOTICE: A few of these programs require you to be 18 or older (the first two). If this is the case, ask your parent to signup for you. Then just have them give you the login information so you can use the site. That is perfectly legit. Don’t go lying about your age.
